WATERTOWN, Mass., Oct. 9, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Exergen Corporation recently alleged infringement of United States Patent Nos. 6,292,685 and 7,787,938 against Advanced Diagnostics Corporation (ADC), supplier of the Adtemp 428 Non Contact Infrared Thermometer. ADC subsequently voluntarily withdrew the product from the market.
This continues Exergen's long-standing policy of policing its intellectual property, and serving notice to potential competitors that they must develop their own technology for non-invasive thermometry without employing Exergen's patented technology.
