Millicom and the Republic of Senegal jointly terminate all legal proceedings


Stockholm, October 12, 2012 – Millicom International Cellular S.A. (“Millicom”)
(Stockholmsbörsen: MIC) and the government of the Republic of Senegal are
pleased to announce today that they have signed a settlement to end amicably
their dispute, initiated in 2008 before the ICSID (International Centre for
Settlement of Investment Disputes), over the validity of Millicom's license in
Senegal.
