Exiqon A/S (NASDAQ OMX: EXQ), a leading supplier of high-value gene expression analysis products, today announced that Takara Bio Inc. will take over the distribution of miRCURY LNA™ products in Asia.
Takara Bio Inc. will market Exiqon’s life sciences products in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and India.
Takara Bio Inc. is a leading provider and distributor of life science research products in Asia.

Takara Bio Inc. will initiate the distribution of Exiqon’s products in January 2013 but will launch research services using Exiqon’s products in December 2012.
Takara Bio Inc. joins Exiqon’s network of distributors covering Central and Southern Europe, the Middle East, Brazil, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
