IPC The Hospitalist Company Acquires Practice in South Texas


NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Oct. 18, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- IPC The Hospitalist Company, Inc. (Nasdaq:IPCM), a leading national hospitalist physician group practice company, announced today that it has acquired Valley Hospital Doctors, PLLC (VHD). Based in McAllen, Texas, the acquisition of this acute care hospitalist practice represents a new market for IPC in south Texas.
