ACG-Orange County to Host Second Annual SoCal Capital Expo Featuring National Release of Pepperdine Private Capital Markets Project Exec Summary

TUSTIN, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 31, 2012) - The Association for Corporate Growth Orange County Chapter (ACG-OC) today announced the Second Annual Southern California Capital Expo, highlighted by the first public release of the executive summary results from Pepperdine University's national Private Capital Markets Project, at a special CEO Signature Series event to be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 4:00 PM at the Irvine Marriott Hotel. A panel of capital market experts will be on hand to comment on the survey findings, presented by Pepperdine University professor Dr. John Paglia.

The Pepperdine Private Capital Markets Project surveys 12 capital market segments to understand the latest trends, best practices and changing behaviors of capital providers including asset based lenders, cash flow lenders, mezzanine funds, angel funds, venture capital funds, private equity groups, factoring companies as well as investment bankers and business owners.

ACG-OC President David Krajanowski, managing partner at SingerLewak LLP, commented, "The Southern California Capital Expo is an excellent opportunity for ACG members and guests to learn where professional investors are allocating their capital as well as receive the most comprehensive empirical data on the private capital markets. This insightful and compelling event is essential for financial professionals seeking a deeper understanding of how the capital markets function and where future opportunities exist."

Thomas Hopper, a principal with the Nassau Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and event organizer, echoed those comments: "The fact that Dr. Paglia has chosen to release a survey on national market trends here in Orange County speaks volumes about the region's growth and relevance in the finance/M&A field."

Following the keynote and executive panel discussion, attendees will gather for a series of sector-specific panel discussions that will explore four of Southern California's most dynamic business sectors: Aerospace and Defense; the Food Industry; Manufacturing and Distribution; and Technology.

Co-sponsored by GlassRatner Advisory Group LLC, McGladrey LLP and Mergers & Acquisitions Magazine, the ACG monthly evening event also will feature open networking with Orange County's leading deal makers and service providers, as well as cocktails and appetizers.

The ACG-OC Southern California Expo costs $100 to pre-registered members as well as to Pepperdine Private Capital Markets Project survey participants and $200 for non-members. For registration information, please register on-line at www.acgoc.org (credit card required).
