Hollywood Hip Hop Awards Spin-Off Show to be in November '13 as Final Changes to 2013 TV Specials Programming Slate


NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards Television show has been officially rescheduled for broadcast in May 2013. The show was scheduled for later this month, but the producers and initial sponsors have agreed to postpone the event due to the situation in New York City. "We want the return of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards TV Show to be a spectacular community & cultural event, with a full week of activities in New York City," stated Creator and Executive Producer J.T. Thompson. Producers will move aggressively to complete a new television broadcasting partnership, as this will be the first airing of the show since in National Syndication and on the BET Cable Network in the 90s. 

Plans are underway for an Inductee Concert Tour for 2013, preceding the television show event to be attended by Hip-Hop Pioneers, Artists, Executives, Industry Tastemakers, NYC Officials, Business, Educational, Cultural, Community Leaders and Organizations. "Hip Hop has come a long way and we are looking forward to show where the fans who love hip hop music & culture can join the celebration," stated co-producer Easy A.D. of the Cold Crush Brothers.

The Hollywood Hip Hop Awards TV Show spin-off is rescheduled for November '13. Its Hip Hop's version of the Grammy's, Oscars, and Emmy's all in one. The fans & consumers will vote for their favorite hip-hop Actors, Actresses, Music Artists, DJ's, Athletes, Executives, Entrepreneurs, Films, Television shows, Fashions, Albums, and Video Game winners in national magazines, websites, and publications as previously done in the 90s.

Sponsors and Advertisers will be able to target and reach a collection of Hip Hop and R&B Music and Culture fans ages 16-24, and adults 18-55 who are at the pulse of urban radio, trends, and hip fashions that spend and influence over $500 Billion per year on products, technology, goods and services.
