WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 9, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WSFS Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:WSFS), the parent company of WSFS Bank, today announced the winners of the 4th Annual WSFS Pet Photo Contest. The "Best in Show", "Most Personality" and "Kids & Pets" categories were chosen by celebrity judges Delaware's Lieutenant Governor Matthew Denn, 93.7 WSTW "Wakeup Crew" host Nancy Johnson, and Wilmington Blue Rocks mascot, Rocky Bluewinkle. The "Best in Show" winner was Duke, a 4-year old Golden Retriever submitted by Debbie Vai of Wilmington, Del. Phillip Barkley of Wilmington, Del. and his 3-year old Beagle, Comet, were the winners of the "Most Personality" category, while Bruno, an 8-month old Great Dane and his playmate 22-month old Braedon submitted by Courtney Heal of Newark, Del. took home the first place in "Kids & Pets." The "People's Choice" winner was Tucker, a 5 year old Cockapoo from Newark, Del. Winners will each receive a Concord Pet Foods & Supplies gift card, blue ribbon and trophy.

WSFS Bank donated $1 for every personal or business checking account opened through the month of September and has pledged $1,500 to the Delaware Humane Association.
