Liepaja, 2012-11-14 12:36 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Joint Stock Company “Liepājas Metalurgs” informs that LVL 300 000 was invested in November this year into the existing steel making technology, which is used for production of billets that have the cross section 150 x 150 mm with the purpose to extend the product range of the Company. The implemented technological improvements allow also production of billets with cross section 130 x 130 mm, which offers possibilities to extend the sales market. 7000 tons of this product type have already been produced in November this year.
