Safebrain Systems Inc. Announces Exclusive Relationship With Arizona State University Hockey Program

CALGARY, Alberta, Nov. 26, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Safebrain Systems Inc. (OTCBB:SFBR) announces an exclusive relationship with Arizona State University's Division 1 Hockey program.

President and CEO Michael Scott said, "We are excited about having an elite team like the Sun Devils committed to our product. Every player on the team has a Safebrain CIA Sensor on their helmet and is being monitored by staff. The team travels extensively throughout North America providing exposure which is going to be of considerable benefit to Safebrain. This solidifies Safebrain as an industry leader within the hockey community."

Arizona State Sun Devils hockey program competes in Division 1 of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). ASU has an extensive and rich hockey history. Hockey began as a sport at Arizona State in the early 80's. As collegiate club hockey evolved throughout the country, so did hockey at Arizona State.  ASU has qualified for 7 ACHA Division I National Tournaments in 16 years and developed 5 ACHA Division I All-Americans. Currently ASU is ranked #1 in the Nation and is the only remaining undefeated team in the ACHA.

ASU Head Coach Greg Powers said, "After being introduced to Safebrain at the College Hockey Coaches Convention, I was surprised at the small size of the sensor and its capability to determine such valuable information. Safebrain is essentially another set of eyes on the ice monitoring our players' safety.  The safety of our student athletes is of utmost importance because these young men are planning their professions and building their futures beyond the game of hockey at Arizona State University.  With the severity of head injuries in hockey, Safebrain was a very easy decision for our program."
