Oriola-KD Corporation has acquired minority share of Swedish retail business

Oriola-KD Corporation Stock Exchange Release 30 November 2012 at 4.15 pm

Oriola-KD Corporation has today acquired the 20 per cent minority share in
Swedish retail company Kronans Droghandel Apotek AB (Kronans Droghandel) from
Kooperativa Förbundet ekonomisk förening (KF). The acquisition price paid in
cash is approximately EUR 12.3 million. As a result of the share acquisition
Oriola-KD Corporation has booked a EUR 3.5 million financial income which has no
cash flow impact.  After the acquisition Oriola-KD Corporation owns 100 per cent
of Kronans Droghandel.

Oriola-KD Corporation and KF formed a joint venture on the Swedish pharmacy
market in June 2009. The co-operation has enabled establishment of new
pharmacies in conjunction with Coop hyper and super markets owned by KF and use
of the MedMera loyalty card program in Kronans Droghandel pharmacies. The co-
operation relating to the MedMera loyalty card program and establishment of new
pharmacies continues unchanged after the acquisition of the minority share.

"The co-operation with KF that has lasted more than three years has enabled
Kronans Droghandel to become one of the strongest pharmacy chains in Sweden and
has enabled establishment of nearly fifty new pharmacies" says Eero Hautaniemi,
President and CEO, Oriola-KD Corporation.
