Florida Power & Light (FPL) Named Host Utility for National Conference of the Association of Energy Services Professionals

PHOENIX, Dec. 3, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP, www.aesp.org) announces Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) as the Host Utility of the association's national conference to be held in Orlando, Fla., January 28-31, 2013.

The conference, expected to attract 750+ professionals from all areas of energy efficiency, will present over 60 sessions that will cover topical energy-related challenges and trends in program design, implementation, pricing, policy, demand response, behavior change, marketing and evaluation.

The opening keynote presentation will feature a panel discussion on energy policy presided by key figures from government, utility and a public interest group, including Kateri Callahan from the Alliance to Save Energy, David Lee from the U.S. Department of Energy, and Gene Rodrigues from Southern California Edison. In addition to participating in conference sessions, networking events and training courses, attendees can visit 55 exhibitors who will be showcasing their latest programs, technologies and services in the Expo Hall.
