Informatica Names Margaret Breya as Chief Marketing Officer

Accomplished Marketing Leader to Strengthen Executive Team for the Next Growth Phase


REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Dec. 13, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Informatica Corporation (Nasdaq:INFA), the world's number one independent provider of data integration software, today announced that Margaret Breya has joined the company as chief marketing officer and executive vice president, responsible for worldwide marketing. Breya brings more than 25 years of marketing leadership experience at enterprise software category leaders including SAP, Business Objects, and BEA as well as IT industry leaders including HP and Sun Microsystems.

Breya has also held positions as executive vice president, general manager and chief marketing officer at Business Objects, chief marketing officer and chief strategy officer at BEA Systems and senior vice president of Marketing at Sun Microsystems.

Breya received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Oregon.
