AESP National Conference Opening Keynote Session to Explore Roles of Government, Non-Profits and Utilities in Increasing Energy Efficiency

Closing Keynote Will Be Delivered By 9/11 First Responder and Motivational Speaker Richard Picciotto

PHOENIX, Dec. 17, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP, www.aesp.org) today announced that the opening session at its national meeting in Orlando, January 28-31 will include a panel of experts from across industry sectors dedicated to energy efficiency:

  • David Lee, Residential Program Supervisor, Building Technologies Program with the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the U.S. Department of Energy, Washington, DC
  • Gene Rodrigues, Director of Energy Efficiency at Southern California Edison (SCE), Los Angeles, CA
  • Kateri Callahan, President, Alliance to Save Energy, Washington, DC

The panel will be moderated by Rick Morgan, Morgan Marketing Partners, Madison, WI.

AESP's closing keynote will be delivered by Richard Picciotto, one of the first responders to the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Picciotto was the highest-ranking firefighter to survive the collapse. His heroic story of survival is captivating and his message is motivational and inspirational.

The conference, expected to attract 750+ professionals from all areas of energy efficiency, will present over 60 sessions that will cover topical energy-related challenges and trends in program design, implementation, pricing, policy, demand response, behavior change, marketing and evaluation.
