- Dr. Thorsten Dippel elected new Chairman of the Supervisory Board
 
Frankfurt am Main, December 21, 2012 - Michael Wand and Professor Dr. Lutz
Johanning have been appointed to the Supervisory Board of vwd Vereinigte
Wirtschaftsdienste Aktiengesellschaft (vwd AG) as of December 18, 2012, by
order of the local court in Frankfurt am Main. The Supervisory Board
members Professor Dr. Wilhelm Haarmann and Berthold Wipfler resigned from
their positions as part of the acquisition of vwd AG by Vienna GmbH
(bidder), a member of the Carlyle Group, in consensus with the previous
major stockholders, Oliver Hopp and Dietmar Hopp, and the bidder. In its
constitutive meeting after the court appointment of Michael Wand and
Professor Dr. Lutz Johanning, the Supervisory Board selected Dr. Thorsten
Dippel as Chairman and Professor Dr. Lutz Johanning as Vice Chairman during
an election.
