Sales in December


Baltika’s consolidated sales revenue for December totalled 5,740 thousand euros and increased by 10% compared to December previous year.

Baltika’s consolidated retail sales revenue for December totalled 5,563 thousand euros, which is an increase by 10% compared to the same period in previous year in a situation where the sales area shrunk by 7%. Retail sales efficiency (sales/m²) increased in December by 16%.

The sales growth was in Latvia 18%, Estonia 17% and Lithuania 15%. Sales decreased in Russia 3% and in Ukraine 3%.

In the month of December, comparable stores sales (LFL) per square metre increased by 12%. Growth was achieved in Latvia (+19%), Lithuania (+14%), Russia (+12%), Estonia (+9%) and in Ukraine (+6%). In local currencies, comparable store sales per square metre increased in Russia by 9% and in Ukraine by 5%.

Wholesale increased in December by 31% compared to same period last year.

At the end of December Baltika Group had 113 stores with a total sales area of 22,210 square metres.
Consolidated sales revenue for the year totalled 56,329 thousand euros (+5% yoy), including retail revenues of 52,656 thousand euros (+5% yoy) and wholesale revenues of 2,906 thousand euros (+8% yoy).

Twelve months retail sales efficiency increased by 14%, compared to the last year.
