This follows a recent decision by the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) approving the application by Colba.Net Telecom Inc. for a broadcasting regional licence to operate a Class 1 terrestrial broadcasting distribution undertaking to serve the following communities: Airdrie, Beaumont, Blackfalds, Calgary, Chestermere, Cochrane, Crossfield, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Leduc, Lethbridge, Nisku, Penhold, Red Deer, Strathmore and Sylvan Lake, and their surrounding areas, Alberta; Estevan, Moose jaw, North Battleford, Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current, Weyburn and Yorton, and their surrounding areas, Saskatchewan; and Winnipeg and surrounding areas Manitoba.
This new IPTV service offers several high definition (HD) channels, including some of the most popular American and Canadian channels.
