New Western Energy Corp. Appoints Richard Coody, Oil and Gas Industry Veteran as Manager of Its Oklahoma and Kansas Operations


IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- New Western Energy Corp. (OTCBB:NWTR), an independent energy company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of oil, gas and minerals primarily in North America, announced today the appointment of Mr. Richard Coody as Manager to oversee its Oklahoma and Kansas Operations.

Mr. Coody has over 25 years experience in the oil and gas industry starting with 14 years at Schlumberger. During his career he has traveled and worked in the oil and gas industry throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and China. Most of this time was spent in the well service sector such as well stimulation, cementing and wireline. Mr. Coody has owned and operated his own well service equipment manufacturing companies and consulted for others. In 2005, Mr. Coody established an oil and gas engineering company that designs, operates, manages production and drilling programs for itself and its clients. Further, Mr. Coody is working to develop a practical application for nitrogen pressurization of oil and gas reservoirs with portable low cost equipment. He is in the process of filing a patent for parts of the application.
