businesses in commerce, announced that Radishbo-ya, a leading Japanese producer
and distributor of fresh, organic vegetables to homes and supermarkets, has
deployed Descartes Route Planner and Descartes Mobile for Android. Radishbo-ya
is using the solution to improve its delivery capabilities and more efficiently
capture customer information. The software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution was
implemented, and is being hosted, by CTC, a Descartes 'United By Design'
partner in Japan.

'Our business has been built on producing fresh, organic vegetables that are
directly and reliably delivered to our customers,' said Daisuke Ogata, CEO of
Radishbo-ya. 'With Descartes, we're able to create optimal delivery routes,

Descartes Mobile for Android helps enterprises manage drivers on delivery
routes by providing the drivers with the delivery sequence and turn-by-turn
driving instructions. The solution also helps enterprises capture route status
and other critical information while interacting with the customer. Descartes
Mobile is available on multiple operating systems, in multiple languages,
including Japanese, and on multiple hardware platforms.

'We're pleased that we're helping Radishbo-ya improve its customer service
through advanced route planning and mobile technology,' said Junichi Maruta,
General Manager, SaaS division of CTC. 'CTC has made a significant commitment
to offering Descartes route planning and mobile solutions in Japan and

partners,' said Ken Wood, Senior Vice President of Product Strategy at
Descartes. 'We look forward to continuing to help innovators, such as
Radishbo-ya, provide superior customer service. We're thrilled to work with our
trusted partner CTC in providing integrated transportation management solutions
