Changes in the Supervisory Board

The chairman of the Supervisory Board, Carsten Andersen, has announced that for health reasons and effective as of today he will resign as chairman and member of the Supervisory Board in Vestjysk Bank A/S.

The Supervisory Board states the following: “It is with much regret that we have received notice and taken cognizance of the chairman’s situation. Carsten Andersen was the architect of the merger between Aarhus Lokalbank A/S and Vestjysk Bank A/S in the beginning of 2012, which made it possible to complete a comprehensive and necessary capital plan. In the short period he acted as chairman, Carsten Andersen’s qualifications and enthusiasm were an immense benefit for the bank.”

The Supervisory Board has decided to nominate Steen Hemmingsen as a new member of the Supervisory Board in order for the Supervisory Board to subsequently appoint Steen Hemmingsen as new chairman of the Board. Further information on Steen Hemmingsen’s background, qualifications etc. is attached to this announcement.

The Supervisory Board expects to convene an extraordinary general meeting in the near future, where the election to the Supervisory Board can be held.

Carl Olav Birk Jensen has announced that he resigns as board member at the extraordinary general meeting.
