MEMPHIS, Tenn., Jan. 22, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Terminix, the nation's largest pest control provider, today announced the closing of six asset acquisitions in December 2012. These transactions contribute strong management teams, additional service offerings and geographic diversity to the Terminix portfolio, further highlighting the company's aggressive growth strategy.

Terminix plans to continue its organic and acquisition growth strategy in 2013 with a focus on both domestic and international acquisitions to further expand the company's geographic footprint. Terminix actively looks for a variety of pest control operators (PCOs) and, as with the businesses acquired in December, utilizes different integration models, from tuck-in to stand-alone operations.
Collectively, the annualized revenue for these recent acquisitions is in excess of $10 million.

Operations in Rohnert and Pittsburg, Calif.

Corporate operations in Lancaster, Bishop, Bakersfield, Sacramento, Ridgecrest and Newark, Calif.

Franchise operations in Grover Beach, Calif
- BioGuard Pest Control
Operations in Boise, Idaho; Salt Lake City, Utah; Nashville, Tenn.; and Virginia Beach, Va.
- Springer Professional Home Services
Operation in Davenport, Iowa
- Foothills Pest Control
Operation in Chandler, Ariz.
