Chairman of the board Ulrich Wörner resigns from office, Dr. Christian
Hofer new chairman
(Leinfelden-Echterdingen, 31 January 2013) - The chairman of the board of
directors, Ulrich Wörner, resigned today with immediate effect from his
office as member of the board and as chairman of the board. His resignation
from office was the result of differing views on company policies. Mr
Wörner's director's service contract was also terminated by mutual
agreement with immediate effect. The company would like to thank Mr Wörner
for his hard work and service to the company COR&FJA AG, and for the
trustful cooperation with the supervisory board, and wish him all the best
for the future.
Today the supervisory board appointed Dr. Christian Hofer as new chairman
of the board with effect from 1 February 2013. Dr. Hofer had already
resigned from his previous office as member of the supervisory board. Dr.
Hofer will only carry out the office as chairman of the board for an
interim period of 15 months until a permanent successor to Mr Wörner is
found. During the interim period Dr. Hofer will promote the strategic
reorganisation of the COR&FJA AG group. The supervisory board would like to
express its gratitude to Dr. Hofer for his willingness to assume the role
of chairman of the board during the interim period.
