Vandenbergh began his banking career with Midlantic Bank/North and joined Lakeland Bank in 1998 through the merger with the National Bank of Sussex County where he was that bank's President. He has served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Lakeland Bancorp and Lakeland Bank since 2008. Vandenbergh is an active supporter of many of the non-profits in the communities served by the Bank and currently serves on the Board of the Karen Ann Quinlan Charitable Foundation.
