American West Baseball League Announces Nogales is Proud to Announce Their Team Name and Manager

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif., Feb. 26, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Embark Holdings, Inc. (OTC Markets:GFMDD), the parent company to American West Baseball League (a Professional Minor Baseball League), is pleased to announce the Team Name and the Team Manager.

Nogales Professional Baseball team will play as the Nogales Desert Ghosts; go to http://nogalesdesertghosts.com to see the logo and get more information about the team.

The Nogales Desert Ghosts are extremely proud and excited to have named Jolbert Cabrera as their first ever manager. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with our players. He is a great person with tremendous integrity who is looking forward to the opportunity to become involved and become a part of the Nogales community.

Jolbert Cabrera played in Japan for the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks in 2005 and 2006. In 2005, he hit .297 with 8 home runs in 131 games for the team but dropped off to .260 with 8 homers in 90 games the next year. In 2007, he signed with the St. Louis Cardinals organization and hit .231 in 45 games with the Memphis Redbirds before being released in August. He was immediately signed by the Colorado Rockies, and he hit .329 in 19 games with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. After the season, he became a free agent and was signed by the Cincinnati Reds organization.

Cabrera is the brother of Orlando Cabrera and the son of scout Jolbert Cabrera, who was responsible for signing Edgar Renteria for the Florida Marlins. The two Cabrera brothers were originally signed by the Montreal Expos, but Jolbert had left the organization as a minor league free agent by the time he made his major league debut with the Cleveland Indians in 1998. He was originally a middle infielder in the minor leagues but became a utility player in the majors, logging most of his playing time in the outfield, and also spending time at third and first base in addition to the two middle infield positions.
