On 25 February 2013, Ameriprise Financial, Inc., Minneapolis, MN, USA,
informed us in accordance with section 21 paragraph 1 of the WpHG, that the
number of its voting rights in Deutsche Beteiligungs AG, Frankfurt am Main,
Germany, ISIN: DE0005508105, WKN: 550810, fell below  the threshold of 3%
on 21 February 2013. As of that date the number of its voting rights in
Deutsche Beteiligungs AG amounted to 2.98% (corresponding to 407,108 voting
rights). 2.98% of the voting rights (corresponding to 407,108 voting
rights) are to be attributed to the company according to section 22
paragraph 1, sent. 1, no. 6 in connection with section 22 paragraph 1,
sent. 2 of the WpHG.

On 25 February 2013, Columbia Management Investment Advisers, Boston, MA,
USA, informed us in accordance with section 21 paragraph 1 of the WpHG,
that the number of its voting rights in Deutsche Beteiligungs AG, Frankfurt
am Main, Germany, ISIN: DE0005508105, WKN: 550810, fell below  the
threshold of 3% on 21 February 2013. As of that date the number of its
voting rights in Deutsche Beteiligungs AG amounted to 2.98% (corresponding
to 407,108 voting rights). 2.75% of the voting rights (corresponding to
375,747 voting rights) are to be attributed to the company according to
section 22 paragraph 1, sent. 1, no. 6 in connection with section 22
paragraph 1, sent. 2 of the WpHG. Further 0.23% of the voting rights
(corresponding to 31,361 voting rights) are to be attributed to the company
according to section 22 paragraph 1, sent. 1, no. 6 of the WpHG.
