(NYSE:SMA), a leading global source of innovative medical device solutions, including surgical instruments, orthopedic implants and sterilization cases and trays, announced today that its subsidiary, Symmetry Surgical, has entered into a distribution agreement with Hospital Innovations in the United Kingdom. Under terms of the agreement, Hospital Innovations will distribute Symmetry Surgical's portfolio of surgical medical devices, which includes all brands and products of the recently acquired Codman surgical instruments portfolio.
Hospital Innovations, a well-known, growing healthcare company, delivers high-quality surgical instruments to more than 400 hospitals throughout the U.K. Adding Symmetry Surgical's portfolios to its robust lines of pioneering medical devices and products will enable Hospital Innovations to better meet their customers' evolving requirements and work with them to deliver quality, value and outstanding patient care.
