Because of recent discussions about the Housing Financing Fund‘s (HFF) future structure, the Fund wishes to clarify the following:

For some time, a future lending strategy and financing of new loans for the Fund has been in progress and is well underway.  Additionally, a working team appointed by the Ministry of Welfare has been working on a report on the Fund´s future outlook and roles. The team is supposed to submit a status report before the end of March.

The Fund wants to make clear that no decisions have been made on matters regarding loan supply, financing of these loans or a potential change in HFF´s roles.  Those decisions will be announced as soon as they have been made.

HFF will publish its 2012 annual report in week 12 and at the same time, the Fund´s status and outlook will be presented in as much detail as possible at that time.
