RDA Microelectronics Achieves Volume Shipments of GPS LNA for Samsung 3G Handsets


SHANGHAI, China, March 4, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RDA Microelectronics (Nasdaq:RDA) ("RDA Microelectronics" or the "Company"), a fabless semiconductor company that designs, develops and markets Radio Frequency (RF) and mixed-signal SoC semiconductors for cellular, connectivity and broadcast applications, today announced that it has begun volume shipments of its RDALN16 GPS LNA for use in Samsung's 3G handsets deployed in Europe and emerging markets worldwide, such as South America.

Developed on Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI) CMOS process technology, RDA's GPS LNA is a high gain, low noise, small size amplifier ideally suited for GPS, Galileo and GLONASS applications in 2G and 3G handsets.
