Majority shareholder supports dividend proposal of just 11 cents per share

Göppingen, March 5, 2013 - The majority shareholder of Schuler AG, Andritz
AG, today informed the Board of Management that it did not support the
proposal to appropriate profit made by the Board of Management on December
3, 2012, which recommends a dividend payment of 25 cents per share. The
majority shareholder has announced a counter-motion of Andritz
Beteiligungsgesellschaft IV GmbH to agenda item 2 (profit appropriation) of
the Annual General Meeting of Schuler AG on April 18, 2013, whereby a
dividend of 11 cents per no-par value share (ISIN DE 000A0V9A22) is to be
distributed to shareholders for the fiscal year 2011/12.
