Opening of Monton new concept flagship stores


Baltika finalised the first stage of opening Monton new concept flagship stores. Baltika has opened to date new concept flagship stores of its leading brand Monton in attractive shopping centres of St. Petersburg and capitals of the Baltic countries: Piterland in St. Petersburg, Viru in Tallinn, Galerija Centrs in Riga and Akropolis Center in Vilnius.

Baltika developed Monton brand visual identity and store concept in co-operation with creative agency Dan Pearlman with the goal to increase the export potential of the brand. In addition to Monton, Baltika developed visual identity and store concept of its second largest brand Mosaic. The new visual identity of Mosaic was taken into use in 2012, first new concept flagship store will be opened in the second half-year of 2013 in Spice shopping Center in Riga. In addition existing stores will be renovated based on new concept. Both Monton and Mosaic new branding has been developed with the help of European Regional Development Fund through Enterprise Estonia.

Bastion and Baltman brand retail concepts are planned to be renewed by the end of 2013.

Opening of Monton and Mosaic new concept stores is part of Baltika’s investment plan, according to which in the next few years the Group intends to open 25 new stores and to invest 5 million euros in the retail system of which around 3 million euros will be invested in 2013. Renovation of almost 20 stores and the launch of around ten new stores, primarily in Latvia, Russia and Ukraine will be made in the current year.
