Leif Östling, deputy chairman of the Board of Directors of ISS A/S and ISS World Services A/S, has decided to leave the board after more than seven years of service to free up time for his new tasks as a management board member of Volkswagen.

Sir Charles Allen and Thomas Berglund have been elected new members of the Board of Directors of ISS A/S and ISS World Services A/S.

“We are deeply grateful to Leif Östling for his deep insights and many valuable contributions during his more than seven years on the ISS Board. While we sincerely regret that our deputy chairman is leaving the board, we are indeed delighted to welcome Sir Charles Allen and Thomas Berglund. They both have in-depth understanding of the service industry,” said Ole Andersen, Chairman of the Board of ISS A/S. “Charles is well-recognised as a successful businessman and broadcaster and adds experience from both the media and the catering industry. Few people understand the service industry better than Thomas, who spent almost 22 years of his career with Securitas including 14 years as CEO. Charles and Thomas both bring very valuable experience to our board.”

Charles Allen is the Chairman of Global Radio Group, the largest commercial radio group in Britain, Chairman of 2 Sisters Food Group and Senior Advisor to Goldman Sachs. He was recently elected Chairman of British Red Cross and is a non-executive Director of the London Olympic Committee and Virgin Media.
