The tour began with a stop at RGH's Virtual Vocational Training production facility where the Prince donned 3D glasses and used a 3D mouse to extinguish a virtual fire. The demonstration showcased the proprietary virtual technology RGH developed to safely train people in the workplace in a realistic way.

At the end of the tour, the Prince again put on 3D glasses to view the opening scene of Postman Pat: The Movie, a feature film now in production at RGH that will bring Pat, one of Great Britain's most iconic children's characters, to the silver screen. Postman Pat is also quite popular with children in Jordan, where the TV series has aired for decades.

Randa Ayoubi told Prince Charles: "We are doing this for children all over the world. He is a very authentic character and this is Pat being taken outside the UK and into the world."

Prince Charles also posed for a photo with the entire staff at RGH, when Ayoubi presented the Prince with a 3D printed model of himself being greeted by Postman Pat and his cat, Jess.

RGH is producing Postman Pat: The Movie in partnership with DreamWorks Classics for release in CG 3-D Stereoscopic. The film features a renowned voice cast led by actor Stephen Mangan (Episodes, Green Wing, Dirk Gently) as Postman Pat. Academy Award® and BAFTA® Award Winner Jim Broadbent (Iris, Moulin Rouge!), Rupert Grint, who achieved international fame as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter film series, and David Tennant (Doctor Who, Harry Potter).
