NASDAQ OMX Commodities hereby invites Members to register their interest in participating in a German Power Initiative. NASDAQ OMX Commodities intends to designate Market Makers, Liquidity Providers and Brokers to participate in the program.


German Power Initiative

1)         Market Making
2)         Liquidity Provider
3)         Broker Program


The German Power Initiative shall initially be available to participants for the period from April 2013 to 31 December 2015. The German Power Initiative may be extended.

•          German Power Forward Contracts listed on NASDAQ OMX Commodities
•          German Power Futures Contracts listed on NASDAQ OMX Commodities
•          German Power Options on Forward and Futures Contracts listed on NASDAQ OMX Commodities
 

Application

NASDAQ OMX Commodities Europe hereby invites eligible participants to apply for:

1)         Market Maker status and/ or
2)         To participate in the Liquidity Provider program or
3)         Broker Program

NASDAQ OMX Commodities requests those with an interest in participating in the German Power Liquidity Provider Program to submit an application to the program to arman.mohii@nasdaqomx.com. More information about the initiative will then be provided.

The participants will be selected by NASDAQ OMX Commodities on the basis of a number of criteria, including:

•          Experience
•          Capacity and capability to fulfill obligations
•          Financial capacity and capital
•          Technological and operational infrastructure

Selected applicants will be required to enter into an Agreement with the Exchange and the Clearinghouse. NASDAQ OMX Commodities’ decision regarding German Power Liquidity Providers is final.
