SHANGHAI, CHINA--(Marketwire - Mar 25, 2013) - Marriott International leaders and Hotel General Managers from over 130 properties across the Asia Pacific region joined together on February 20th for a local experience at Shanghai's award-winning Yu Bar at Shanghai Marriott Hotel Luwan, a top luxury hotel in Shanghai.
The "Live Life to Discover" concept was brought to life at Yu bar in a delightful evening featuring a live performance, local flavours, and a stunning view over Lupu bridge. Discoveries included jasmine tea fusion cocktails served from a traditional Chinese long-spout copper pot, snake wine in honour of the Year of Snake. Participants were indulged in the lively rhythm with enthusiasm, enjoy cocktails, fine wines and snacks. For many of the General Managers, this was their first visit to China and to downtown Shanghai which was a great networking opportunity to share information while experiencing the vibrant city.
