Four EndoHeroes(TM) Honored for Contributions

EndoChoice Makes Announcement in Conjunction With GI Nurses Day


ALPHARETTA, GA--(Marketwire - Mar 27, 2013) - In recognition of GI Nurses Day and the many GI professionals who dedicate themselves to patient care, EndoChoice, Inc. is honoring four GI professionals who were selected as EndoHeroes in 2012. Each EndoHero will have a donation made in their name to the GI society or department they choose.

EndoHeroes are GI professionals who go above and beyond, who do their job and also contribute to their community and the well-being of others. They not only offer exceptional patient care, but they are involved with programs that improve the lives of others. The four recognized by EndoChoice are:

Major Joan Davis, RN, Montefiore Medical Center, New York, NY -- serves with U.S. Army Reserve/Army Nurse Corps, including a one-year tour in Iraq, plus community involvement and humanitarian missions.

Elise Dorr-Dorynek, BSN, RN, CRRN, CGRN, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA -- Medical Reserve Corps, communication education programs and non-denominational volunteer chaplain.

Richard Honer, MD, Gessler Clinic, Winter Haven, FL -- medical director at Angels Care Center (free clinic), community involvement, mission trips to the Dominican Republic.

Richard McGlaughlin, MD, Alabama Digestive Diseases, P.C., Birmingham, AL -- spends one week every month volunteering in Haiti, directing a GI lab he established there.
