Effnet AB, the leading provider of header compression software for wireless and fixed networks, today announced that it has licensed its header compression technology to Intel Corporation.
Intel and Effnet have collaborated for a long time to develop and market Effnet’s header compression technology on Intel-based platforms. An initial development license agreement is now extended into a production license agreement between Effnet and Intel.

Effnet’s header compression products have been designed with a focus on achieving high compression efficiency using limited system resources.
