Clarification on the description of Foresight Group in connection with Greentech Energy Systems A/S’ Company Announcement No 6/2013
On Thursday 7 March 2013, Greentech Energy Systems A/S published a Company Announcement (No 6/2013) concerning the signing of the Term Sheet of a majority Joint Venture (JV) with Foresight Group (51% Greentech – 49% Foresight) for new investments in solar PV projects in the USA.
As it has been brought to Greentech’s attention that the description on Foresight’ activities contained in the above-mentioned Company Announcement might be misinterpreted, Greentech publishes this clarification in order to avoid any misunderstandings.
Greentech confirms all information related to the signing of the term sheet as published in Company Announcement No 6/2013, but specifically with regard to the description of the potential future partner, Greentech clarifies that Foresight Group is an experienced solar industry investor and operator with more than 100 MW solar assets under management in the UK and Southern Europe currently targeting renewable energy infrastructure acquisitions in North America, and considering operations in USA, Canada-Ontario, Brazil, Southern Europe, UK, MENA and GCC.
