On May 6, 2013, Universal-Investment-Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung,
Frankfurt am Main, Germany, notified us according to article 21, section 1
of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz - WpHG) and
to article 22, section 1, sentence 1 no. 6 of the WpHG as following:

On April 30, 2013, the voting rights via shares of
Universal-Investment-Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, Frankfurt am
Main, Germany, in Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, Kurfürsten-Anlage 52-60,
69115 Heidelberg, Germany, have exceeded the threshold of 3 % and 5 % and
the amount of voting rights held was 8.18 % (19,169,813 voting rights).

1.27 % (2,989,813 ordinary shares) of all voting rights in Heidelberger
Druckmaschinen AG were attributed to Universal-Investment-Gesellschaft mit
beschränkter Haftung according to article 22, section 1, sentence 1 no. 6
of the WpHG.
