             POSTING OF ANNUAL REPORT & ACCOUNTS AND NOTICE OF AGM

Amara Mining plc, the dual AIM and TSX-listed West African focused gold
mining company, announces that its Annual Report and Accounts for the
year ended 31 December 2012 were posted to shareholders together with a
notice of Annual General Meeting on Friday 10 May 2013.

The Company's Annual General Meeting will be held at the offices of K&L
Gates in The Wren Room, One New Change, London EC4M 9AF on Wednesday 05
June 2013 at 11:00.
