Following the Order of Director of Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania of 21 November 2012, TEO LT, AB (hereinafter – “TEO” or “the Company”) is recognized as undertaking having significant market power on wholesale broadband access market.
Wholesale broadband access market includes wholesale broadband access services provided using metallic lines and employing DSL technology, using fiber-optic lines laid up to the end service users’ premises (Fiber to The Home (FTTH), lines laid up to the building (Fiber to The Building (FTTB) and using Local Area Network (LAN) and employing Ethernet technology.
TEO is obliged following the provisions of the Law on Electronic Communications of the Republic of Lithuania to provide access to other undertakings, to follow obligation of non-discrimination, obligation of transparency, obligations of price control and cost accounting, obligation of accounting separation.
Fulfilling the obligations, the Company on 1 June 2013 will publish public offer to provide wholesale broadband access.
