Nurminen Logistics starts co-determination negotiations

Nurminen Logistics Plc               Stock exchange release 12 June 2013 at 1.00 pm

Nurminen Logistics Group is to commence co-determination negotiations pertaining to terminal and forwarding personnel in Nurminen Logistics Services Oy’s Railway Logistics business unit. The reason for starting co-determination negotiations is to adjust costs and operations to match the prevailing market and competitive conditions. The negotiations concern a total of 67 employees. The company’s preliminary view is that the adjustments will consist of permanent layoffs and temporary layoffs of no more than 90 days. The aim of the adjustments is to achieve approximately EUR 200,000 in cost savings in 2013.

The changed market conditions do not alter the company’s previously stated outlook for 2013. The planned adjustments do not affect the Group’s plans for strengthening its position in domestic railway transport in Russia and nearby countries as well as railway transport between Finland and Russia.
