SMTC Corporation Files Application to be Excluded as a Reporting Issuer in Quebec


TORONTO, June 26, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SMTC Corporation (Nasdaq:SMTX), a global electronics manufacturing services provider, announced today that it has filed an application with the Autorité des marchés financiers for a decision that it is not a reporting issuer in Québec. If the decision is made, SMTC Corporation will no longer be a reporting issuer in any jurisdiction of Canada.
