DENVER, June 27, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mario Carrera, Executive Vice President, Entravision Communications Corporation, received the prestigious "Ohtli" Award for his contribution to the progress of the Mexican and Hispanic communities in the United States as well as his outstanding career in the Hispanic Market and Spanish-language media. The ceremony was held in Denver on June 25, 2013.

The ceremony had the assistance of several local authorities, community and opinion leaders such as Mr. John Walsh, U.S. Attorney for the District of Colorado, the Colorado State Senator Irene Aguilar, representing the Mayor of Denver Michael Hancock, the Director of the Denver Office of Economic Development Mr. Paul Washington and former Mayor of Denver and President for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Bill Vidal.
