eFLOW(R) Comprehensive Census Management Package Selected by United Nations Population Fund Agency (UNFPA)

TIS Representative Awarded Long Term Agreement to Suppliers for Comprehensive Census Solution; Any Country Executing Census Within Next Three Years Can Obtain the eFLOW Census Management Package Via the UNFPA

TEL AVIV, Israel and COLOGNE, Germany, July 2, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Top Image Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq:TISA), a leading Enterprise Content Management (ECM) intelligent content capture, workflow and delivery and mobile payments solution provider, announced today that as a result of a UNFPA bid for census solutions, its AP representative Lucky Bird, Ltd. was awarded a Long Term Agreement certifying Top Image Systems as a UNFPA supplier for a comprehensive census management package including scanner hardware, recognition software, census questionnaires and related census project services. The LTA agreement will be posted in the official UN procurement portal UNGM (United Nations Global Marketplace). Any country that will execute a census within the next three years can obtain the eFLOW® Census Management Package via the UNFPA.

In a world in which the population continues to expand and governments need to gather information to create and execute policies to serve the needs of these populaces, the UNFPA plays a key role in supporting governments in these tasks, including censuses, surveys and related research and analysis. With field offices in 140 countries in addition to Headquarters in New York, the UNFPA promotes census execution worldwide, including in countries undertaking their first census, as well as in countries requiring technical assistance or support for other reasons.

Amir Angel, TIS Director of Sales and Government Projects, remarked, "The Letter of Agreement with the UNFPA makes official Top Image Systems' already well-established standing as the premier supplier of census projects worldwide. Top Image Systems earned this title by means of its huge investment and numerous project successes across the more than 30 population censuses it has carried out over the last fifteen years. The fact that TIS was selected to return to carry out second and even third census rounds by some countries proves the high level of customer satisfaction we achieve. This is thanks to the robust performance of the eFLOW platform that enables us to carry out the highest volume, most complex data capture projects within tight time and budget constraints. We thank the UNFPA for its recognition of our expertise and look forward to deploying more successful projects for the countries it supports."
