Conergy AG files for open insolvency proceedings 

Hamburg, 5 July 2013 - The Conergy AG will file an application for the
opening of insolvency proceedings today at the District Court of Hamburg.
The German major subsidiaries will also immediately file for the opening of
insolvency proceedings.

The management remains confident of achieving a continuation of the whole
business operations in the context of insolvency proceedings by means of an
investor.
