In Anticipation of Upcoming Sony Pictures Movie, The One World Doll Project Selected by Legendary TV Star to Create Collectors Doll

Celebrity Doll Designer, Stacey McBride-Irby and The One World Doll Project to Collaborate With Good Times Star, Bern Nadette Stanis

HOUSTON, July 22, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The One World Doll Project, subsidiary of One World Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:OWOO), announced today it is partnering with Bern Nadette Stanis, celebrated star of the hit 70's TV show, Good Times, to create a collectors doll in the likeness of her character, Thelma.

"With Sony Pictures' recent announcement of its plans to release a Good Times feature film we feel this is the perfect time for One World Dolls to be partnering with the legendary actress who played one of the show's most memorable characters. Thelma Evans was a smart, sassy, educated beauty who disproved many stereotypes about the young black girl," said Joanne Melton, CEO of One World Holdings. "Thelma showed the world that a "girl from the ghetto" could have hopes, dreams, intelligence, respect for herself, dignity and grace, in the midst of difficult circumstances. She introduced a new definitive image of the young Black girl and we are extremely excited to have been chosen by Bern Nadette Stanis to create this much anticipated collectors doll," she added.
