Vilnius, Lithuania, 2013-07-23 09:43 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- During the 1st half of 2013, the Group consisting of GRIGISKES AB, Baltwood UAB, Klaipedos kartonas AB, Mena Pak PAT, and Klaipeda recycling UAB achieved the consolidate sales turnover of LTL 156.4 million (EUR 45.3 million). It is LTL 11.8 million (EUR 3.4 million) or 8% more than during the 1st half in 2012.
During the same period in question, the Company's sales amounted to LTL 67.9 million (EUR 19.7 million), which is LTL 16.1 million (EUR 4.7 million) or 31% more than in the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the Group earned LTL 4.6 million (EUR 1.4 million) profit before taxes, which is LTL 0.4 million (EUR 0.1 million) or 8% more than in the 1st half of 2012.
In the 1st half of 2013, the Company earned LTL 3.1 million (EUR 0.9 million) profit before taxes.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of the Group and Company, if compared with the 1st half of 2012, increased by 14% and 10%, respectively: in the 1st half of 2013, EBITDA of the Group was LTL 18.5 million (EUR 5.4 million), of the Company LTL 10.7 million (EUR 3.1 million).
Growth of financial figures was achieved at the result of completed investments in 2012.
