Vienna, 24 July 2013. On 15 July 2013, Raiffeisen Bank International AG
(the'Bank') invited holders of its EUR 1,500,000,000 3.625% Notes due 2014
(ISIN: XS0412067489) (the 'Notes'), unconditionally and irrevocably
guaranteed by the Republic of Austria, to tender any and all of the Notes
to the Bank for purchase for cash (the 'Invitation').

The Invitation expired at 5.00 p.m. (CET) on 23 July 2013.

The Bank has accepted for purchase EUR 562 mn in aggregate principal amount
of the Notes.

The Bank will also pay accrued and unpaid interest on the Notes from and
including the immediately preceding interest payment date for the Notes to
but excluding the Settlement Date in respect of Notes validly tendered and
accepted for purchase by the Bank pursuant to the Invitation.

The settlement is expected to occur on 26 July 2013.
