About The RBC Decathlon Benefiting Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center:

In 2008, Dave Maloney and Marc Hodulich began a friendly competition among friends and co-workers and quickly realized the unique 10-event contest they had created had a limitless potential. Emboldened by the courageous efforts of their mothers who respectively battled breast cancer, Maloney and Hodulich turned the athletic contest into a fundraiser open exclusively to members of the financial services community and benefiting cancer research. Fast forward a few years and this small event morphed into The RBC Decathlon, raising over $1,300,000 in 2012 alone and featured in Sports Illustrated, ESPN, CNBC, Fox Business Network, and numerous national publications. Participants embrace the opportunity to compete in a diverse array of events like a football throw, 500m row, and pull-ups. 100% of donations support pediatric cancer research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the world's oldest and largest private cancer institution. Visit www.TheDecathlon.org to donate and learn about participants.
