American National Declares Quarterly Dividend


GALVESTON, Texas, July 25, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- American National Insurance Company's (Nasdaq:ANAT) board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of 77 cents per share on its common stock, CUSIP #028591-105, at its July 25, 2013 board meeting. In compliance with Nasdaq's applicable dividend notice requirements, the dividend is payable September 20, 2013 to shareholders of record as of the close of  business on September 6, 2013. American National Insurance Company has paid dividends to stockholders for more than 100 consecutive years.
