The Tabby Awards received submissions from more than a dozen countries including Australia, Canada, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. An international jury of tablet professionals reviewed the submitted apps. The panel of judges was assembled in collaboration with the Application Developers Alliance.
The judging panel picked Hang w/ to advance to the final round from more than 150 apps. The winners of the Tabby Awards' first competition will be announced later this summer. Other nominees include Nickelodeon's "Nick Jr. Draw & Play" in the category of Family & Kids; Warner Brothers' "Lego Batman" in the category of Arcade & Action Games; and Disney's "Where's My Water?" in the category of Brain & Puzzle Games.
